Marion Segal

My life has been a tapestry of both hardship and beauty, a profound journey of self-healing. I am eternally grateful for the unwavering love of my grandparents and aunt. My heritage, rooted in Ukraine and Latvia, weaves Slavic and Jewish traditions together.

My healing work is grounded in daily meditation, the natural world, and the wisdom of my teachers: Julieta Cazimiro, Malidoma Patrice Somé, Anam Tubten, Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Lewis Mehl-Madrona, and Greg Booi.

I hold an MA in Depth Psychology and Spirituality from the California Institute of Integral Studies, where I am a PhD candidate. My expertise is further supported by certifications in:

  • Somatics: Hakomi Method, Somatic Experiencing, Relational Somatic Healing

  • Energy Work: Bioenergy Balancing, Reiki

  • Communication & Sound: Nonviolent Communication, Sound Healing

My healing journey began after years of struggling with chronic illness. Turning away from Western medicine, I searched for guidance within my body, committing to daily meditation and turning to the invisible realm for help. In the stillness of the mind, I began to hear the subtle communications of all living beings—elements, plants, animals, and crystals. More so, I received profound healing, which I then extended to loved ones, including animals, and my clients. As I embraced this path, ancestors and spirit guides offered their support, embedding my work in an ancient web of life.

While I do not claim to be a "shaman", I deeply resonate with its essence in my practice. Each session is a sacred journey, an act of surrender guided by mindful intention, loving presence, and trust in the inner healer of each individual. I do not claim to heal others, but rather create a space where your innate healing wisdom can awaken, leading you toward wholeness in your unique way. This empowering approach cultivates personal growth and empowers you to access and trust your own healing capacity, enabling you to continue your work when you choose."
